Sour ale aged in wine barrels with strawberries. A celebration of the summer harvest, this blond sour ale is loaded with Coastal Seascape Strawberries grown at Dirty Girl Farms in California’s santa Cruz Mountains. These delicious berries are swept by cool evening ocean breezes and drenched in warm daytime sun before being hand-picked and added to this tart and refreshing ale. Enjoy paired with classic charcuterie and summer salads.

Bottle. Cloudy, hazy golden , no head. Tart, berry, Marzipan, turon. Very dry tart, lemon, citric candy, sour on the insides, hope i have stomach lining left.

Cloudy with almost no head. Aroma is grapes, citrus, fizzy tablet, white wine, vinegar. Taste is sour acidic, with not much fruityness. This one was too sour and aggressive for me.

Bottle. Hazy orange color. Aroma is vineous funk, touch of strawberries (similar to older bottles of Oudbeitje). Taste is acidic, vineous, barrel funk, strawberries again, mouth-puckering sour finish. Lively, but small-bubbled carbonation. Nice, but really really sour (Hanssens-style).

Cloudy golden color, thin head. Sour aroma, some cobwebs, and then mellow strawberries. Aggressive, extreme acidity, some layers of flavors going on, some vanilla, some strawberry.
Unbalanced, too sour, but good.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy, opaque peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice of mix of lightly acidic stone fruits and tart strawberries. Flavour is quite acidic, with lots of tart, acidic strawberries. Not a whole lot else besides the highly acidic berries. I need a Tums®. It's harsh, but okay.

Murky tan and no head. On the nose, there is light strawberry, and acidity. Quite acidic, light brett and even lighter strawberry. The acidic character is fairly sharp and heartburny, and for me there isn’t enough fruit complexity to justify it. I prefer softer acidity.

Good clarity (very soft haze) to this light pinkish-red beer with a pink-flecked, beige head atop showing moderate to low retention.
Dainty brett, wood and softly juicy strawberries remind immediately of the equally elegant reserve pluot. There’s a dose of stronger acidity but it’s not lasting nor does it take away from the fruitier, brighter, brett and strawberry notes. No alcohol or flaw. A bit of sweet malts lying behind it adding honey, predominantly.
Very juicy strawberry notes are augmented by honey-like malt notes but are both dried out by light acetic and lactic character. Black pepper, touches of citrus and light oak/wood character add complexity without detracting from the strawberry focus. Very authentic and enjoyable, and overall a bit more aggressive acidity than the pluot, though this is also much, much more fresh than the bottle of pluot I had. Low but tight carbonation. Surprisingly malty, though not too much so. Very flavorful, no alcohol or flaw.

A sour beer with very nice body, a nice surprise. The fruit is quite mild, perfect. The sourness is true to spontaneous fermentation (I think). Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
