750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of melon, pear, apple, white grape, orange peel, coriander, cardamom, clove, peppercorn, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, wood, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big melon, pear, apple, white grape, orange peel, coriander, cardamom, clove, peppercorn, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, wood, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate yeast spiciness, herbal bitterness, and slight tart/tanginess on the finish; with lingering notes of melon, pear, apple, white grape, orange peel, coriander, cardamom, clove, peppercorn, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero alcohol warming for 7%. Overall this is an excellent saison. All around great fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. This doesn’t seem to have the Fantome House yeast character I am familiar with, so I think they may have used a strain from Arizona Wilderness; seems much cleaner. Quite heavy on coriander/grains of paradise-like spice flavors. A very enjoyable offering
