Brewed with heirloom German rye from the European "rye belt", this hardy cereal crop provides hints of spice complemented by a depth of nutty and rich field grain flavor. Simcoe and Amarillo hops sprinkle in West Coast citrus aromas and a piney bite. Lager yeast ties the recipe together, providing a crisp and refined finish.

Bomber from a nearby Raley’s grocery. Pours copper with a creamy light beige head. Lots of fruits and some citrus - but not enough to burn the nose. Some rye spice seems detectable. Med + body. Flavor is rye spice forward, followed by lots of fruit - various. Still think citrus. Could be some earth. The hop does burn a bit in the mouth. Finishes fruity, spicy, bitter. This is really tasty.
