This burly West Coast IPA is the result of long hours in the hop shop. The Apprentice is back overhauled and rebuilt with a nod to the past and an eye on the road ahead. Chrome hubs and candy paint might turn heads, but this beast is built for speed, barreling through the finish line with potent hop power.

Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Fresh, orangey nose, tangering, mandola and -peels; fresh grapey hops. Bitter, but not harsh, again fruity-citrussy. Still not much going on further. Falls a bit flat, and not talking carbonation. Slick, medium bodied. Ur-classical IPA in the end.
