Cask at Red Cow, Nantwich (not listed on Brewver). Pours golden amber with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is muted – just hints of traditional hops and malts. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a decidedly creamy texture. Flavour has traditional hops, marmalade and grains. Later on some underlying caramel sweetness can be detected. Finish is somewhat dry. This is decent.
