Milde Herbe, viel Kakao, trocken. Leicht unterdurchschnittlich karbonisiert, cremig, langer Abgang, trockener Nachhall. Lecker. 11/11/10/11//11

From tap at 4e Noordelijk Lentebieren festival Leeuwarden. Aroma is dark roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate, notes of coffee. Flavour is fairly sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Between a Baltic Porter and a Quadrupel. Nice beer.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Coffee hints. Starts strong, roasty-malty, earthy, woody notes. Fine bitter background. Hints of raisins, shy vanilla. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Nice one!

Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep brown colour, big beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, some mild tart fruity/berryish tones with mild roast as well. Flavour is floral, smoked, mild coffee, chocolate and some roasted tones with a mild berryish edge to it. Nice chocolaty and coffeeish roast/smoked tones in the finish.

Bottle at home, Nivala. Via Ratebeer swap thanks to TomHendriksen! BBE 01-10-2023. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavors: Some coffee, dryness, some licorice, roasted malts... was boozy but getting better.
