The nose on this beer is outrageously smokey. It literally tastes like super strong smoked meat. The underlying beer is pretty solid though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Big smoke and bacon aroma. Smoke and malt flavor. Medium bodied. Smokey malt and light earth lingers with light backing hops.

Keg at the brewpub, SD, 12/11/14. Dark amber/chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is TCP, band aid, smoked malt, dark fruit. Taste comprises big peaty tones, smoked malt, TCP, bacon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lapsang souchong rinse in the close. Ok smoked number.
