Baltic Porter - dark, strong lager which is Polish "treasure beer". Classic version of Baltic Porter (with Plato extract around 20°) is brewed with a few Polish breweries. We, as PINTA, respect a value of Polish treasure but at the same time we go extra mile to create our own vision of classical beer. We are proud to present Imperator Bałtycki (Baltic Emperor) - dark giant made of malts and hops. PINTA Imperator Bałtycki - festive beer.

330ml bottle. Opaque, quasi black colour with late awakening, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Spicy, roasty, dark malty and sweaty resinous, slightly fruity hoppy aroma, notes of soy sauce, hints of bramble and blueberry. Taste is spicy, roasty dark malty, slightly sweaty, resinous and fruity hoppy, notes of soy sauce, hints of dark chocolate, some bramble and blueberry; full body, oily to viscous texture, slightly sticky palate. Immense hoppy counterweight makes the malt body almost look slender - what it is not: This is a nighcap, an "Absacker", if not a time-to-go-home-last-order-knockout.

Many thanks to sklezpiwempl for this bottle. Great deep beginning. Sticky and rich, dry with dried plums and red cherries. Molasses, burned caramel. Highly drinkable, deep with dry grains. Long intense roasty bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color porter with a nice large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt notes with nice black chocolate notes is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of light roasted malt notes with some creamy black chocolate notes with a dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Dry with hints of residual; sugar and enough complexity while staying within the style guideline.

Bottle. Black colour, large beige head that stays for a while, decent lacing. Aroma is quite intensive pine, also coffee. Alcohol well hidden. Light bitterness. Does not taste like a Baltic porter, but it's good.

Bottle. Black chestnut with a red shine, offwhite cream. Strong hop nose: Grassy, resinny, coppery, blackcurrant, nice citric aromatics - extreme and very pleasant. Fullbodied, dry wooden start, then soft, sparkles. Very much like a creamier Dark IPA. Good drink, happy to enjoy in large quantities.

Bottle. Pours dark brown. Nose is very fruity, not really porter like, some metal. Palate is orange, bread, chococolate, blood orange. Bitter finish. Interesting take on the style.
