Baltic Porter - dark, strong lager which is Polish "treasure beer". Classic version of Baltic Porter (with Plato extract around 20°) is brewed with a few Polish breweries. We, as PINTA, respect a value of Polish treasure but at the same time we go extra mile to create our own vision of classical beer. We are proud to present Imperator Bałtycki (Baltic Emperor) - dark giant made of malts and hops. PINTA Imperator Bałtycki - festive beer.

Bottle pour , courtesy of joet. Thanks! Dark muddy brown pour. Dusty aroma. Some earthy grains and hints of dark fruit. Dry flavor, dark fruit, dusty malt. Crazy! This is a Baltic porter? Please explain. Never had anything like it. Dark fruit, wine type notes, but extremely dry. Wood, dusty constant. Bitter Slight cocoa. Really trying to figure this one out. Good overall, but difficult to categorize. Really fun beer, but strange.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige irregular head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweetish malty start, soft roast, bit sourish, caramel, some chocolate. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: lots and lots of dark chocolate, bitter, caramel, fruity, dry roast, alcohol. Aftertaste: pretty sweet, dried fruits, more chocolate, bitter roasted notes, very decent beer, wow!

A black beer, a head is big and brown. Aroma has roastiness of coffee, but more fresh hoppyness, citrus and pine. Taste has roastiness, coffee, citrus, quite strong bitterness, richness of malts. Almost full bodied, smooth. This is great beer. The hops first.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black, with a dense and lacing beige head. Nose is rough, sweaty and unclean in the strangest way. Rich, roasty body, almost medicinal, tons of licorice. Gets a little more mellow as it warms, but it's still a fairly rough beer. 271117

Bottle from namebeer00, many thanks! Pours very dark brown with a beige head that leaves some lacing. Roasted with loads of chocolate, a bit of milk chocolate sweetness, some sweet liquorice and candied sugar. Well integrated sweetness, hides booze superbly. Great beer!

Pours almost black with at most two fingers of mocha head, which shows good enough retention and a bit of lacing. A quite intense and very clean aroma shows roasted malts, chocolate, slight coffee and red fruits. Taste shows a very good balance of sweetness and bitterness, with none standing out. Caramel (slight burnt caramel) and roasted malts, chocolate, slight coffee, red fruits and a bit of resinous bitterness in the finish. A slight, warming alcohol note shows up here and there. Again, good intensity. A pleasant mouthfeel shows a medium to dense body and low to medium carbonation. Quite creamy in the mouth and very drinkable for it's abv. Overall a quite intense but most of all very clean and well made baltic porter. Very good.
