A premium lager with the zesty character of New Zealand grown hops. A light bready base and a sparkling crisp finish with notes of citrus & apricot.
Design by Scottish artist KMG, who took inspiration from the parallels between elements of Maori & Celtic folklore. Her depiction here is an interpretation of the stories of Taniwha: supernatural creatures that live in the oceans, lakes and rivers of Aotearoa. Here they have the shapeshifting abilities of a Selkie from Celtic folktales and transform from human to shark.

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
On keg at Teuchters.
Appearance - golden and a bit hazy. Creamy, white head with quite high carbonation.
Nose - lemon, lime and green plant stalks.
Taste - sweet lime notes with some breadiness.
Palate - light bodied, creamy and sweet middle and fairly dry on the finish.
Overall - quite nice.
