Sample at the production facility during Jackie O’s 10th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/04/2015. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, malt, vanilla and fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. The one grew on me as I drank it, solid beer all around.
