At WFG 2021.1, day 1. Any day where I can tick a BL is a happy day for me. Nothing too crazy for this, just soft bourbon and sweet chocolate in a nice stout. Soft, smooth, slightly boozy and rich. Good flavours, maybe a bit too thin.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of vanilla, fudge, dark chocolate, light roast, booze. Taste has lots of vanilla, chocolate, fudge, light roast, subtle bitterness.

Bottle at the 10th Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Poured out nearly black with a small brown head. Aromatic with bourbon barrel and vanilla, roasted malt. Heavy roast and chocolate malt taste with more barrel notes.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan ring of a head. Nose is bourbon barrel vanilla roast malts coffee chocolate spice. Taste is more of the nice bourbon barrel vanilla roast malts coffee some chocolate sweetness and a hit of booze.

Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong dark chocolate, wood, roast. Medium body, milk chocolate, roast, wood, light booze, very good.
