Welcome to that circus of boundless dreams, and a Freak Show of a beer. A spicy, 20 megaton fruit bomb, like nannas entire spice cabinet in a barrel of hot rum. Think banana split on vanilla ice cream with berries poured in, finished with a sprinkle of cinnamon. But wait, there’s more.
One half of a dried fig on each side, a hint of cherry, cardamon and a swig of caribbean spiced rum, topped with a squirt of orange cream, more berries, a clump of candy floss, decorated with jasmine flower.
This is a very bold but perfectly balanced strong beer, with intense aromas and complex flavours, finishing with a nice warming feeling. Let the freak show begin.
Experimental IPA, first launched in 2021 as a entry into GABS. A much loved bold beer. A hopped up Belgian quadruple.

From a 375ml can on 20/8/2025. Pours a murky amber with a smallish head. The nose is modest with some stewed fruit (maybe apples) and some spice. It's an utterly odd beast on the sip. Tastes of stewed and fermenting fruit - apples again, and maybe some fig and date, without the sweetness, and some caramel malt. Spicy, with a bit cinnamon, a a touch salty, and decently bitter at the back with resin lingering in the mouth. Warming with more than a hint of booze. Full bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Stylistically unfathomable, and both complex and messy all at the same time. Gets a bit better as it warms, but lacks sufficient charm and cohesion to impress..
