A modern spin on a classic wheat beer base, this summer seasonal layers soft banana esters — a nod to traditional hefeweizens — with a lush addition of mango puree for a vibrant, fruit-forward profile. The wheat lends a smooth, pillowy body and subtle haze, while restrained bitterness keeps the focus on juicy, ripe flavour. Balanced, refreshing, and brewed for sunny days, it’s a showcase of how tradition and innovation can pour perfectly side by side.

Appearance is hazy orange, with a half-finger white head. Aroma is as advertised- banana, fruity hops, bit of mango, mostly banana. Taste is citrus fruit, banana, clove, soft fluffy fruity hops, hint of zest and lime, more banana, short finish. Bit like a fruit cocktail with banana chunks.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A hazed bright orange gold coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big spicy wood, cedar, spicy, green mango, balsa wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangy, mango, orange rind, tropical, not much banana, perfume note in the finish. Palate is super crisp, light tang, highish carbonation.

Bit weird.

Pours murky pale yellow gold with a thin head that fades. Loads of mango, banana, clove, nutmeg, definitely a hefe vibe going on. Easy drinking and fruity. Decent enough.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 20/08/2025.
Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is banana bread, herb, yeast esters.
Taste comprises straw, grass, yeast esters, mellow tropical fruit, subtle banana.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay drop ... more 'Hefe' in its characteristics than fruit beer.
