We brewed this Double IPA in collaboration with our Northern friends, Messorem out of South-West Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hopped with Freestyle Nelson, Freestyle Nelson Hop Shots, Nectaron, and Citra, expect intense tropical fruits with a citrus aroma. From the Grim Reaper's brewery to our tanks, kick back, relax, and enjoy.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Kumquat and tangerine aromas. Thick with sweet passion fruit, hot lemon and kumquat upfront turning to earthy pith in the medium length finish.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, sparse head, sediment. Fruity aroma, tropical bits but zesty citrus. Taste is mostly grapefruit peel, zesty, tangy. Flavor fies but citrus zest lingers for quite some time .

Dank, bold hop profile. A little juicy, smooth body but the finish errs a little bitter. A very nice DIPA that’s a little extreme for my tastes.
