At Bearwood we don't have time to tilt at windmills or commandeer ships. We'd rather combine some amazing hops to create a lime and white grape Extra Pale Ale.
It drinks light and refreshing with a subtle bitter bite.
Hopped with Motueka, Citra and Nelson Sauvin.

Can ordered from Left Field Beer. Cloudy pale gold. Thick frothy foamy white head with pretty decent lacing. Aroma combines a porridge and sweet fruit core with a delicate vinous strea and also lime as promised. Herbal. Flavourwise there is an initial burst of stone fruit. This is soon followed by lime and vinous sourness. However the sweetness remains with added sugary porridge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Described as a XPA but more of a Hazy NZ Pale crossbreed. I likes it, though.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Aromas of gooseberry jam, white grape, lime, lychee,. Flavours are a nicely balanced mix of the above. Quite a bittersweet number. Goes down very nicely.
