Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has dark roast with a bit of chocolate and coffee underlying. Flavor has dark grains and growing roast with a touch of coffee and just a hint of sweet chocolate backing.
