Bottle @ The Annual Icelandic Beer Festival 2018. Pours clearish red with a small white fizzy head. Notes of sour cherries, light malty, vanilla, almonds, light funk, light lactic acidity.

RBSG. Pours a reddish pink color with a small white head after it dies down. A big pungent woody sour fruity nose. Rich sour cherries, sawdust, lactic, some vanilla. Very smooth despite being pretty aggressively sour. Very nice.

Sample at Beer Study bottle share in Durham. Hazy reddish color, off white head. Aroma of cherry, berry, light funk. Taste is lightly tart cherries. Tasty.

Bottle in Winter Park with jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Hazy, red, violet-tinged appearance with a thin off white head. This smells delicious. Tons of wild cherries, light funk, pie, and some lactic acid. Light body. Pretty low sweetness. Low bitterness. Mild to medium tartness. The flavor is cherry in the forefront with some cheese, funk, oak, and strawberries. Finishes dry, funky, and fruity. It’s not perfect but this is a really great sour cherry beer.
