Where the Wild Beers Are, 2014. Hazy yellow color. Very tart for a Berlinner. In addition to the light wheat flavor, there was surprisingly some cinnamon, or surprising for the style anyway.

Bottle split at the Jack is back tasting, thanks once more to Leighton, 06/03/14. Orange amber with small off white edgeing. Nose is tarte fruit, ginger, rhubarb, bitter orange. Taste comprises tangy mixed fruit sherbet, light acid, peach, pithy orange, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, acidic pangs in a semi refreshing close. Ok ’Linner, not top draw but solid enough.

Bottle shred in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a fine, foamy white head. The nose has some doughy malts, ripe blueberries. Light sweet flavor with assertive tart berries, mild sweat, some funk. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Tart finish, a bit of pale bread, some lightly plastic fruits, sweaty berries. Not bad.

The taste is crisp, tart finish, berry skin, lemon sherbet, light acidic, wood, tang, vinous and berry skin with a dry, acidic finish. Medium and prickly carbonation. Perhaps a it acidic, but way better than the somer.

Bottle as shown. Pours a pinkish plum with small frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is oak, funk, and berries. Thin mouthfeel with super tart berry and vinegar. Cinnamon coming out in the finish. Something a little off about this one, need another bottle.

Bottle - thanks Felipe! Pours a clear pinkish peach color, quite pretty with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, lemons, windex, light funkiness. Flavor is quite tart, fruity, lemon leading to a somewhat clinical aftertaste. Light body, low carbonation. No cinnamon detected.

Sampled on tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold that looks like it has drops of purple food coloring in it, fluffy pink head. Nose has a lot of lacto, almost like blueberry yogurt, some seltzer, spice, cinnamon sticks, blueberry muffin. Flavor is very tart, the lacto tartness hits you right off the bat, a little lemon, yogurt, distinct blueberry, some spicy cinnamon. Very tart finish. Nice.
