Imperial Stout with Sweet Cherry Co-Fermented Coffee, Toasted Cherry Wood, Cherry Blossoms, and Maraschino Liqueur-Aged Vanilla Bean
A slow, steady erasure of that which we knew. The floor strewn with husks of former truths. We were told a tale of purity. But our trail of smoke and sacrifice proclaims something else entirely. A double-mashed Imperial Stout dreamt up with our friends at Fonta Flora and Salud. To celebrate Primavera 2025. To MANFIEST ETERNITY. Conditioned on toasted cherry wood, cherry blossoms, maraschino liqueur-aged vanilla bean, and Andres Cardona sweet cherry co-fermented coffee, whose farm in Colombia we visited last summer. Enjoy notes of iced vanilla latte, sprinkled in maraschino powder, and a dose of cacao syrup.

Brown-black pour with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and cherry. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, espresso, vanilla and chocolate-covered cherries. The finish is roasty and sweet with a chocolate cherry-infused coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.
