A masterfully crafted barley wine style ale that harmonises a blend of Munich malts, delivering a sumptuous, silky texture layered with notes of sweet, spicy caramel. This rich, indulgent creation is taken to new heights with an added touch of luxury, gently aged on Ruby Port oak and enriched with caramelised plums.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - murky brown with a thin off-white head.
Nose - red fruit, actually they've put plums in it, so that's what it is. Sweet spices and toffee.
Taste - tangy sour plums, towards brown sauce, chutney.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy sour and fruity.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours purple-tinged brown with a thin white head. Aromas of spice, plum, oak, vinegar. Taste is plum chutney, caramel, bit oxidised maybe. Very dry.
