Cask at Swan and Railway, Wigan. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s oranges and hops in the aroma plus hints of caramel. In the mouth it starts off slightly bitter with a creamy texture. The bitterness increases but not to a huge extent. Flavour has malts, traditional hops, citrus, marmalade and a hint of treacle. Finish is slightly dry and bitter. This is reasonable.
