Inspired by a classic pear pie, this mixed fermentation pastry sour is rich and indulgent. Flavors of juicy pear, warming cinnamon, and creamy vanilla meld together, creating a thick, dessert-like brew. A sweet yet tangy treat for those who love bold, flavorful sours.

Keg at Pub Graali, Oulu. Hazy pale yellow. Thin foamy white head sticks to the rim. Aroma is sour but this is buffered by custard sweetness. Flavourwise there's an initial vinous sourness with before pear sweetness comes through. A custard edge but less influential than the aroma hinted it would be. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Pleasent sour.

A light yellow and murky beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has perries, vanilla, sourness, pretty nice. Taste has perries, sourness, hint of cinnamon. Medium bodied. Pretty weird, but I like these perries.
