Cask at the Tamworth beer festival 05/09/2025. A light hazed nutty brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody roast. Pine, brown bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded grains, pine tips, woody roast. Meaty. Palate is semi sweet grains, mellow cask condition. Ok

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Aroma is tangy. Murky dark cola. Thinnest beige head. Aroma has berries and coffee. Flavourwise it is similar with added tang. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. OK.

Gravity cask at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a thin tan head.
Nose is chocolate, roast malts, charr, earthy fruit rinds.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, dark malts, spice, charr, tangy dried fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Okay stout.
