Gruit was the prominent beer style in Europe prior to the 16th century, when hops became the only herb used in our beer. Ours was made with yarrow, mugwort & sweet gale from Hallow Herb Farm in the Intervale, as well as sweet woodruff & Labrador tea.

Hazy copper with a medium sized head. Sweet and tangy, herbal and a bit fruity.
