This oatmeal stout is an ode to complexity – roasted coffee notes, chocolate, and the sweetness of oatmeal. As you drink you will be greeted by light notes of coffee, caramel, and a sweet, silky, creamy mouth feel. Look for a slightly roast finish with a creamy lingering mouthfeel.

Draft, labeled Whoa Bucker, with roughly matching commercial description but ABV of 5.5%: Butterscotch, blue cheese, toejam nose. Mahogany, thin head. Butterscotch, varnish, plum. Medium body, easy carbonation. Something didn’t go exactly right with this beer. At this point in my flight at the brewery, I was remarking to a friend about how good and consistent the beers had been. This one was not. Fortunately, the remaining beers were good and this must have been an outlier.
