While Hoppy Table Beer was inspired by the Belgian tradition of low-ABV, easily drinkable beers, it still occupies a hop-forward spot all its own. Brewed with our 2-row malt blend, Maris Otter malt, and oats, the beer is then spiced with a subtle addition of coriander. We ferment it with our house yeast for classic Belgian citrus aromas. Hoppy Table Beer is hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Comet, and Azacca hops, then dry hopped with more Comet and Azacca. A mildly hoppy aroma full of grapefruit springs from this straw-colored, light-bodied ale. Flavors of pine and stone fruit balance the beer’s clean, slightly bitter finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy to stiff yellow color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: crushed coriander, floral and grassy hops with a light grapefruity hop spice, light cracker malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine semi-sweet to bitter quality; finishes crisp floral and dry
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to light; sessionable; some smoothness but also plenty of dryness on the tongue
Overall: I say a very nice table beer and would love to have again with some swordfish.

Sample at the brewery taproom. Slightly hazy straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. The aroma consists of fruit, hops, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruity yeast, malt and a bit of spice. The finish is grapefruit and yeast. Above average overall.

On draught. This beer was orange with moderate off-white head. Solid Belgian funk but a little off from what I expect from these guys.

Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is pale yellow (like a white wine), decent sparkle, thin white head. Aroma is subtle: yeasty, lightly herbal, earthy hops, perhaps some floral, not dramatic. Taste is subtle like aroma (with light citrus, grass, herbs) but dominated by bitter and tart dryness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and dry, crisp finish. Overall, this is light and refreshing but this was pretty mild and did not live up to the description.

Bottle drank at the sister's place in NYC. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. Beautiful aroma, nice grass, crisp wheat, biscuits, lemon peel, hints of grapefruit and tangerine. Light sweet flavour with dry pale sourdough bread, some wheat grains, husks and grass, more lemon rind, straw. Light bodiednwith average, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, with clean grassy bitterness, more pithy grapefruit, melon, pale bread. So drinkable. Excellent brew.

Bottle from A.J.'s. Lovely nose. Apricot, white grape, grapefruit, floral, fruity, hoppy, peppery. Medium gold with light haze and a lw head. Dry, floral, crisp, crackers, white grape, berries. Dry finish is peppery and lightly bitter. Light, crisp, low to medium carbonation. Great table beer. Would love to have a case of this in my closet.
