While Hoppy Table Beer was inspired by the Belgian tradition of low-ABV, easily drinkable beers, it still occupies a hop-forward spot all its own. Brewed with our 2-row malt blend, Maris Otter malt, and oats, the beer is then spiced with a subtle addition of coriander. We ferment it with our house yeast for classic Belgian citrus aromas. Hoppy Table Beer is hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Comet, and Azacca hops, then dry hopped with more Comet and Azacca. A mildly hoppy aroma full of grapefruit springs from this straw-colored, light-bodied ale. Flavors of pine and stone fruit balance the beer’s clean, slightly bitter finish.

Draft at Beer Culture, W 45th St, New York. Pours hazy pale gold with a good sized but short lasting white head. Aroma of hop, yeast, citrus, fruit, bread and malt. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Towards medium bodied, slight oily and watery texture, average to above average carbonation. Crisp, with a slightly dry finish. Pretty good.

Well, damn: what a pleasant surprise this beer turns out to be. Bright, fruity, grassy, spicy, and delicious, a wonderful mix of mischievous hop complexity and saison-ish nuance. Starts out like a sunny meadow, herbal and mellow, then gains a moderate yeasty center, lemon-tinted and lined with cloves and tropical hop fruitiness. Grows dry on the finish, floral with hints of white pepper, coriander, and a lingering hop bitterness. Looks absolutely amazing, a hazed pale yellow with infinite head and lacing. Good nose as well, full of grass and fresh-cut wood and yeast. Texture’s a tad thin, not as boisterous as you want, but otherwise a killer brew. Yum.

Bottle - hazy light gold - about everything I was hoping it would be - subtle spiciness combines with peppery and herbal hops in both the aroma and flavor quite well - supple malt texture - dry and lightly savory malt profile - spicy finish of herbs, citrus, pepper, and perfume - tasty.

At a wedding: pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, lightly floral, with plenty if hoppiness evident in the aroma. Taste is lightly bitter and very tangy. A good Belgian session or table beer as they call it.

12oz bottle. I’ve had this a few times since the release but this particular bottle is dated 12/29/16, so just about 6 months old. This is actually my favorite version of it, the hops are a bit more mellow. Now, there is a smorgasbord of hops in here and it basically comes off as lightly herbal, lightly green hops. Moderate-low hoppiness and missing any acridness or offputting bitterness. A light, almost pilsner-like beer. Very light and straw colored with a lightly sticky head. Nice little beer. Bottom of the bottle is full of yeastiness.

Enjoyed in Vermont. Pours a cloudy light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, a little on the warm side. Lacing is foamy, patchy. Great smelling fresh hops with lemongrass notes, Belgian Ale yeast and hints of skunk. The taste is mildly hoppy with a bitterness that builds up a certain dryness. Not too wild and with the yeast blending things. Pretty nice all-around brew which I would have anytime.

Pour looks like a chalky yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some citrus hops, a bit of the oats and come coriander. Flavor is a nice chewy dry malt with a hint of grapefruit with some bitterness. Finish is super clean and almost dry’s out the mouth. This beer has a nice hoppy bitterness with some clean malts.
