Set sail for the Southern Hemisphere with Clipper’s Cargo, a vibrant and expressive New Zealand Pale Ale that celebrates the bold, aromatic hops of Aotearoa. Inspired by the swift and daring clipper ships that once raced across the seas carrying prized cargo, this brew delivers a fresh shipment of tropical flavors without the full weight of an IPA.
Crafted with a light, crisp base of Sacramento-grown Pilsner malt and malted wheat from Admiral Maltings, Clipper’s Cargo is the perfect vessel for showcasing a dynamic blend of all-New Zealand hops — Galaxy, Wakatu, Wai-iti, and Nelson Sauvin. Expect a bright bouquet of passionfruit, white grape, citrus zest, and stone fruit, all carried on a clean, dry finish.
As New Zealand hops ride a wave of global popularity, Clipper’s Cargo captures their essence in full sail. It’s your ticket to a tropical voyage — no passport required.

Capped 500 from Corti Bros. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of lychee and citrus. Med plus body. Dry and bitter. Flavor is lychee, citrus zest and nectarine. Quite clean. Slightly (some sort of impact I can't find words for) in the mouth. Excellent.
