Experimental IPA #71 is a West Coast IPA brewed with NZ Cascade from Freestyle Hops and a little bit of Citra for good luck.
NZ Cascade is Cascade that is grown in New Zealand, providing an interesting terroir comparison.
While North American grown Cascade is often more pine and resin forward, NZ Cascade has a brighter citrus and tropical fruit character.

On tap at the brewery. Pours murky dull yellowish with a white head. Nose is dank and tropical with some caramelized notes. Flavour is fruity and tropical with some dank notes floating around. Good body and fairly juicy. Pretty decent.
