When you’ve got the blues, rely on the Moose. Forget your cares thanks to its aroma of dried fruit and dark chocolate. When you are still feeling blue – dabadee, dabadoo – just take a great sip of this dark tasting beer. The taste reveals smoked malt and caramel. Adding Canadian maple syrup gives a more complexe sensation in the mouth. Slowly enjoy this intriguing beer, so that it can give away all its secrets one by one and you can discover a different kind of blues.

Bottle at THT. Murky brown with small off white head. Slight gusher. Sweet malts, light chocolate, light funk and soft sweet berries, slight spices, chalky. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a lot of carbonation. Not that interesting.

Tåkete brun ned høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter brunt sukker, brent karamell, dadler og mørke frukter. Søtlig noe bitter smak, brent karamell og toast. Fyldig. Sitter lenge.

Bottle at Moeder Lambic SG. It pours deep brown with a thick light tan. The is sweet, toasty, cocoa, caramel, candy, booze, earth and light dust. The taste is bitter-sweet, toasty, caramel, toasty brown sugar, brown bread, raisin, sultana, light booze and plum, with a dry, earthy finish. Medium-full and moderate+ carbonation. A bit sweet and boozy, but you get a good boost out of it!

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild roasted notes, quite sweet caramel, toffee as well as a bunch of spices along with a slight alcoholic sweetness to it. Flavour is very similar in a good balance. Quite a bodied and nice beer for once. Tasty with the spices and yeast giving it a nice kick.
