When you’ve got the blues, rely on the Moose. Forget your cares thanks to its aroma of dried fruit and dark chocolate. When you are still feeling blue – dabadee, dabadoo – just take a great sip of this dark tasting beer. The taste reveals smoked malt and caramel. Adding Canadian maple syrup gives a more complexe sensation in the mouth. Slowly enjoy this intriguing beer, so that it can give away all its secrets one by one and you can discover a different kind of blues.

Trevlig men lite svårplacerad. Lite bruinaktig kanske.

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Hazy, reddish brown with an off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish-fruity aroma of caramel, some chocolate and hints of nuts. Sweetish-malty, slightly sourish taste of caramel, chocolate and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Clear amber brown colour, small frothy tan head, dissipates quickly, thin layer remains, thin lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, berries, candy sugar. Taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, fruity, toffee, maple syrup, roasty notes. Roasted bittersweet finish, spicy, some alcohol, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, not totally convincing.
