(Draught at Frontaal Little Bar, Utrecht, 15 Feb 2024) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, slightly vinous nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate truffles, sweet espresso, sweet liquorice, treacle and a generous roasty bitterness in a warming and vinous finish. Full body, quite sweet. Heavy, rich and warming. Very nice.

Aroma: lots of caramel, chocolate, good roast, sweet impression, ripe banana, some alcohol, a little oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, chocolate, a bit malty, nice roast, fudge, some dried fruits, a bit of overripe banana. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, alcohol, sugary, lots of dark caramel, oxidized, a bit earthy, nice one, I really like it! Bitter finish, roasted, some charcoal.
