33 cl can @ home Vintage 2023 Aroma has salty licorice and mild chocolate. Flavour has ash, tobacco, salty licorice and syrup bread. Also some cocoa. Finishes with lingering saltiness and some hops. Clean and balanced but bit too salty for my taste.

0,33l can from Alko Joensuu, enjoyed @ home. Pours very dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is dry roasted malts, coffee, whisky. Flavor is dry roasted malts with coffee, whisky, hops. Tasty.

330mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich roasted malt, plenty of hops, and a little wood. Flavour is rich, with lots of roasted malt, burnt sugars, and hops. Roasty and hoppy finish. Very good.

Poured from 330mL can @ Weathered 2023. Dark brown with small beige head. Mild ash, roast malt, feint tobacco, wish it could be a bit more complex. Okay.

Bottled@PBF XII. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, some ripe berries, dried fruits, alcohol, liquorice. Flavour is tobacco, ashes, liquorice, mild earth and some slight spiciness.

Can: Literally black, big brown head, that slowly collapses, solid sweet and bitter aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate and dried fruits; solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied, silky MF; lingering - drier - herbal-bitter and sweet dark-malty finish with a warming alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Surely better than a Heineken...

330 ml can. Pours black with huge tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate, mocha, vanilla, and soft roasted malts. Flavors of bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts, black coffee, and licorice. Very dry finish.

Quite nice beer. Has the full chewiness but is balanced by a sharpness that is a bit more acidic than most low ph dark beers, and just a touch of hop bitterness. Mild and soothing on the palate for the abv. Arendsnest ams
