Once again, it is a boring lager, tasting it in Mexico. A lot of advertising for few things, almost the same taste than a lager, just to become drunk.

Barwa złota, piana średnia nawet oblepia szkło ale znika dość szybko. Lekko słodowy aromat. W smaku słodowe. Typowy lager. Wad mało, bo pite mocno schłodzone w dodatku z plastikowego kubka... w autokarze. Nalewane z dużej butli 1.2l.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can poured into a glass. Clear golden with big white head. Aroma is light corn, light watery body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light corn. Not a better beer.

Maybe the Mexican beers aren't at the top of many people's lists but they do have their place. I got a 12 oz bottle of Montejo at the local craft beer shop, ready to try it now. The expected grain and water scent. I'm staying with the bottle so no comment on appearance. It is a bit different tasting, there is barley, rice and water, maybe a hint of citrus. I'll solve that. A slice of lime goes in. Much better. Enough lime I could drink a bunch of these.

At a restaurant in Mexico: easy drinking golden lager with ample amounts of grains and hops. Not a watery lager but still simple and refreshing.

I picked up a few cans of this while golfing in Playa Del Carmen. About a buck a piece, so if it's even a little bit good, it was worth it. Plus, at the resort, I have unlimited free lager. So naturally I'll go buy one just to try something different. Tomorrow will be craft beer exploration day so I'm getting these ones out of the way now. Shiny golden pour, a thin spit of head lasts. Gentle flavor. A very light beer, as expected and hoped for. If I'm paying a dollar for a brew, I don't think I want it to be a flavor explosion. That could go sideways quick. Refreshing lager overall. Better than the local Modelo/Corona competition products I might say.
