Our first sour! We did a traditional gose maltbase (60% wheat-40% pilsner) added coriander seeds and himalaya salt, spiked with lemongras in the whirlpool. Refreshing!!!

Draught Bit fluffy white head; hazy yellow beer. Soapy. Citrus, in the way of a detergent bottle, if not disturbingly so. Perfumey too, as delicate leafy herbs. Serious lactic acid assault, yet not harsh. Lemonleaf. Apparently, the strange flavour is due to the lemongrass, which I failed to recognise. Light acidburn, acidthinning, not very carbonated in the end. Definitely not bad, but I keep with this faint impression of artificial.
