Buffalo Nickel is our newest ode to the classic American Pale Ale, brewed 100% with Cascade from our buds at Billy Goat Hop Farm. Early and frequent kettle additions bring that timeless grapefruit-pine bitterness, while a full Billy Goat Cascade dry hop layers in bright citrus and a crisp snap. Clean, refreshing, and familiar in the best way, Buffalo Nickel tips its hat to where American craft beer found its stride.

16 oz. can, courtesy of Ibrew2or3 (thanks Dave), pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is restrained, with light grapefruit, a touch of pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is nicely bitter, with piney hops, some grapefruit bitterness, and crisp crackery malt. Good bitterness on the finish and very drinkable. Very good.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Soft pine, a bit of caramel, and biscuit malts on the nose. Flavour is pretty similar with a clean piney hop expression, some bitter grapefruit peels and dank oils, and a soft malty base. Good, clean hop expression; solid.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear deep gold colored body that supports a nice bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up a thin blend of tangelo, clementine, spicy hops and floral hops with faint hops well off in the background. The taste delivers a pleasing grapefruit hop bitterness infused with sweet malts that are edged with faint malt nuttiness. Faint. Around the periphery are notes of bitter spicy and floral hops further helping to bring this thing together. Fun beer with near chewy hop depth, a pleasing palate yet clean and nearly crushable. Will get more.
