A beacon of light for all of you thirsty beer drinkers. Lighthouse is a beautiful blond saison low on residual sugars. One sip of this beers makes you crave for more. It’s fruity on the nose with hints of coconut. The flavour delivers what the smell promises.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden (as in not hazy) with loads of particles floating around. Medium sized white head. Smells yeasty, slightly zesty, grassy, sweet-ish. Tastes yeasty, sweet-ish, doughy, grassy, slightly floral. Medium body, nice carbo, nice saison. I just can't give a higher score because of the style I guess. But if you like saison you should try this one if the opportunity presents itself.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 July 2017) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with citrus, spicy yeast and hay. Malty, spicy taste with notes of bread, citrus, hay, spicy yeast and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced saison. Quite nice.

Thank you Klaas! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. This is apparently their bestselling beer. Ugly hazy golden, low orange, off-white head. Nose is big soapy yeast, banana, sugar, dough, candy,… Taste is soapy banana, yeast, sugar, candy, huge banana, sweet dough, low sweet cheese in finish. Body is all banana yeast. Another bland too sweet Belgian masquerading as a saison but approachable & sweet enough for most clearly to sell well.

Rather cloudy orange beer, big aery irregular yellowish head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, bit yeasty, pretty fruity, bit sweetish, citrus notes, some grapefruit, vanilla touch, crème brûlée. Weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, some citrus, grains, malty, bit sweet, pretty bitter, yeasty. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, spicy touch, something metallic, bit herbal, some myrica gale maybe?
