A beacon of light for all of you thirsty beer drinkers. Lighthouse is a beautiful blond saison low on residual sugars. One sip of this beers makes you crave for more. It’s fruity on the nose with hints of coconut. The flavour delivers what the smell promises.

0.33 l bottle from ’Speciaalbierpakket.nl’, best before March 2018. Minimally hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit floral aroma of orange peel, peach, straw, clove and some candy sugar. Slightly sweetish, fruity-grassy, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit floral taste of orange peel, peach, straw and clove, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite nice, but not great.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared with Erwin Van Moll. Hazy yellow orange color, average sized white head. Smell and taste wheat, a bit yeasty, orangepeel, sweeter than I had expected it to be. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad, but I’m not really into saisons.
