Before the piney west coast hop bombs or the hazy IPAs out of New England, there were English IPAs. They were brewed with a sturdy malt backbone and were hopped with Noble hops like Fuggles, East Kent Goldings, Challenger, and Styrian Goldings. They are full of earthy aromatics and floral bouquets driving the slight bitterness in these sessional IPAs.
Dilly Dally is modelled after these classic English IPAs. This beer has layers of malt and earthy hop character. Its gentle caramel sweetness leads into floral notes from traditional British hops Fuggles and East Kent Goldings before its subtle bitterness and dry finish.
