Mörena is brewed with a blend of German Pilsner malts and flaked wheat and goes through our intensive step mash regimen to maximize flavor, fermentability, and head retention. In the kettle, we added German Perle, German Saaz, and a whirlpool addition of Motueka. Post fermentation, we added a modest dry hop addition of Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka. Morena means "Good Morning!" in Mãori and this beer is dedicated to the hard working folks at Freestyle Hops. Show Less

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
Draft at Paragon, 8/15/25. Unclear yellowish color, white head, moderate lace. Grains, spice, pale malt, some citrus. Okay feel. Fine overall, but lacking the crispness and the NZ hop flavors I was hoping for.
