On cask at the brewpub. Pours with a hazed deep brown body and a huge foamy off-white head. Aromas of smoke, peaty scotch (Lagavulin like), bbq and caramel. Flavors of ash, wood, charcoal, smoke, campfire and caramel. Seems quite a bit drier than the regular version. Some carbonation but still a bit thin on the palate. Drier than the usual. I’m not the biggest fan of smoke, but this was pulled off well.
