On tap at the brewpub during GABF weekend. Pours with a somewhat hazy/murky brown body with a small off-white head. Aromas of brown sugars, esters, marzipan, rich wood and barrel notes. This is one of those beers you can smell for minutes at a time without taking a sip. Excellent. Flavors are fruity, lots of caramelization, cotton candy, rich malt vanillin and a really beautiful whiskey character. Lots of tannin, light bubbles, thick with just the right amount of alcohol punch. Amazing! Easily one of my favorite beers of the weekend!
