Like no choc-ice you’ve tried before! rich, silky lager with a caramelised, toast-like character. Cocoa nibs for rich, chocolatey overtones. freeze-concentration for an intense, full-bodied flavour. In collaboration with our East London friends at LAND chocolate.

Can at Portcullis Tap. Cloudy dark brown. Thin beige head. Aroma has burnt caramel and veg. Light-medium bitter. With a hint of sourness. And then burnt caramel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice.

Bottle split at the Portcullis tap, Portchester, South Coast Jolly Boys Day Out 20/09/2025.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate pudding, dark malts, dried fruit esters, toasted brown sugar.
Taste comprises dark malts, fruit loaf, chocolate, molasses, sugar dusting.
Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light kiss of booze.
It's okay but lacks depth of flavour and no boost offered for the style.
