On tap at GABF, pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, peat, wood. Medium body, raisin, fig, woody, light smoke finish, good.

Pour is a red-ish brown with almost no head at all. Aroma is a nice big dark fruit with toffee and a bit of coffee. Flavor is a large dose of sweet caramel malt with toffee, plums and again I get some coffee after the swallow. Nice earthy malt with lots of dark fruit. No alcohol is felt, my bottle says this is now 9%, but it is getting warmer in here. This is a most flavorful wee heavy.

Bottle at Pint Central. Clear maroon color, tan head. Aroma has raisins, dates, plum. Taste has burnt caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar, light booze. Very tasty.

Clear Amber with big beige head. Aroma is nice caramel malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt and a little toffee.
