Can from Beerrepublic.com. Dark brown color with huge not very persistent beige head. Aroma of oatmeal, chocolate malt, touch of coffee, roasty notes, some nuts. Taste starts with pure chcolate, followed by coffee, vanilla, nuts, oatmeal. Nice one.

Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt with hazelnut, caramel, cocoa, powdery chocolate, light roast, and a touch of tobacco. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is thin to medium. With a thicker body this could have been really good, as it stands this is rather a standard run-of-the-mill Stout.
Chunky, chewy, tasty and dark. Love it. Well done, Iowa!
