Bottle shared with hajo. Hazy dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet roasted chocolate and caramel malts, doughy yeast, white pepper. Moccha, breadcrust, chocolate milk. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Pours hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, caramel, cocoa and hint of coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, cocoa and caramel finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

330ml bottle picked up at Eide Handel. Dissipating beige head, shattered lacing, dark brown body. Nicely roasted caramel malty aromas. Blended dark malty flavours, brittle caramel and chocolate. Roasted ending. Easy to drink and easy to like. (Tromsø 28.05.2017).

Bottle from Gulating. Murky brown body with a medium sized beige head. Nice, strong aroma of dark chocolate, malt, hint of caramel and some dark fruit. Flavor is also dominated by medium sweet, dark chocolate malt, hint of caramel, dark fruit and balanced bitterness for a brown ale. Quite balanced body and long lasting aftertaste with chocolate malt. A tasty brown ale the way I prefer it and surprisingly well made at only 4,55 ABV. Highly enjoyable.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 15-12-18, 33 cl sample. Hazy brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of slight roasted coffee, dark chocolate and some biscuity malt. Lots of chewy maltiness in taste, dsrk choc, dry and roasty coffee, bit earthy. Slight iron metallic notes, especially in the finish. Quite a lot of flavor for 4.5% brew. Bit unrefined though.

Mørk brun tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter kakaopulver, lett kaffe, noe brent karamell og noe trevirke. Lett. Smaker mørk sjokolade, kakaopulver og brent karamell. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen. Kort. Noe oljete.
