Dark brown with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet chocolatey malts. Nice flavour for only 4.5%

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin soapy light brown head. Aroma of cappuccino, chocolate, raw coffee, nuts and caramel. Taste starts with light to medium sweet cocoa and nuts, following is coffeeish and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Tastes like diluted coffee, but good one for sure...

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, hay, roasted grain, minerals, chocolate, weeds, shed, caramel, hints of coffee and toast. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, toast, bark, sour grass, minerals, sour-ish roasted grain, paper, sour caramel, chocolate, medicine, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

0.33 l fles, tht december 2018, van mijn EU Secret Sint MrHangover vandaan, bedankt Johan! Licht troebel, donker roodbruin met kleine, beige schuimkraag. Zoete, moutige, licht geroosterde geur van koffie, chocola, caramel, vanille en wat noten. Zoete, moutige en geroosterde smaak van caramel, cacao, wat koffie, vanille en een beetje zoethout, gevolgd van een korte, licht bittere, geroosterde en zacht grondige afdronk. Medium tot volle body, romig en zacht schuimend mondgevoel, weinig koolzuur. Goeie Brown Ale, drinkt makkelijk weg!

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter, licht zoet en rookig met iets van bittere chokolade koffie en karamel. Best goed.

Bottle @ home. Totally opaque red-brown color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, leaves. Taste malts, brown malts, leaves, bitter, lightly iron, distant hops. Lingering iron and metallic bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Hmm ok beer.

Draft at Nederlands Bieren Festival, (Winter) Delft. Murky gravy brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, cocoa, caramel, herbs and veggies. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at NBFD. Murky brown with beige head. Coffee, light grassy, soft dried fruits, some red wine and oak, soft caramel. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied.
