This release is all about one of the most unique and sought after hops in the world. Riwaka is bold, fruity, and a little wild, bursting with berries, peach, guava, citrus, and a distinctive herbal spice.
Once a rare “white whale” of NZ hops, it’s here to stay, and we couldn’t resist exploring its many sides. For v19, we’ve brewed three single hop Double IPAs using different Riwaka variants, Eggers Special, Freestyle T90, and HopKeif – before blending them into one ultimate expression.
The result? Three unique beers: two individual showcases and one grand blend, each revealing a different layer of what makes Riwaka so captivating. Complex, vibrant, and full of character – v19 is an experiment in hop exploration, and a must-try for anyone who loves big, expressive beers.

Draft at the Brew Tavern, Nottingham. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Fruity and dank. Slight bitter. Smooth full body.

Murky fruit smoothie orange topped with a lasting frothy white head.
Nose is grapefruit, pine resin, pissy NZ hop combo, grass, dank spike, raw tropicana.
Taste comprises ripe tropical fruits, hop spice, pine resin, dank spike, guava, stone fruit, gooseberries.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with danko come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid NZ hop fuelled punchy DIPA.
