Hazy orange - gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, thin and mildly sweet cream. Mild pine hops blends well with bright tangerine and mandarin, a little hop spice. Smooth finish. A very pleasant IPA but it lacks something to take in to the higher echelons.

On tap at Whole Foods Post Oak. Pours a hazy gold with medium creamy white that lasts. The aroma is strong dank and floral. Medium mouth, citrus, pine, tropical fruit, lingering bitterness, good.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of passionfruit, furniture polish, grape juice and tangerine. Flavour of orange squash with a stainless steel tang. Medium body with a light, oily texture. Soft fizz. The tangerine/orange flavour tastes artificial. This seems more like a Radler than an IPA. Pilot’s Orange/Green wipes the floor with this.

Cloudy dark blond color with small head. Aroma of zesty citrus fruit, food body strength, some toffee flavor, very light residual sweetness, orange flavor, orange peel, strong bitterness.
The orange is very artificial here, the result is not very pleasant.

Bottled shared at Deguchiya. Tangerine all over the nose with some dekopon and light lime notes. Grassy hops come out as it warms a bit. More citrus and lime on the palate but then a rush of super bitter, zesty pith hits the palate and hangs on throughout the finish. Overly bitter for sure.

Bottle. A- Oranges, tangerines, lemon pez candy, pledge cleaner. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Bitter, pine, cleaner, harsh, slightly sweet, oranges. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, unbalanced finish. O- Not good at all. The aroma was okay. Really a mix of sweet orange candy and lemon cleaner. Smelled like a low quality shandy from Leinenkugels or something. The taste was just weird and the palate was so hard to take it just ruined the beer. This should have been a ton better. Had to be something wrong with it somehow.

Bottle, smells like tangerines! Off pale cloudy. Terrible bitter hop flavor overcomes my senses. Yes, what else can be said except this is one big bad bitter hop session, with a hint of tangerine machine, whew, does not hide alky too well and guess what, i saw the vice president today on route 376, heheh. Not impressed.

Bottle pours a very cloudy orange, light tan. quick modest head Some of the tangerine in the aroma and flavor. More of the peel or pith. Quite high bitterness, again possibly coming fro the volitales in the orange peel. A sharp bold IPA with a nice citrus bite.

Draft at Harry’s hofbrau in San Jose. Pours a murky gold-amber with small white head that fades but patterns down glass. Tangerine shows overtly in both aroma and flavor. Puckering. Dry finish.

Cloudy dark yellow with a frothy white head. Bright fresh tangerine aroma. Lots of tangerine flavor. The hop flavors get lost here although there is some bitterness. Too much as if this was half juice and half beer so I’m not Soul Sylyin’ today.
